Curriculum
At Highclare Prep we successfully combine traditional teaching of core subjects – English, Science and Mathematics- with a modern approach encompassing Verbal Reasoning, Information Technology and Design Technology.
We offer a genuinely broad curriculum, with generous time allocated to music, sport, art, drama and language. The early building blocks, firmly cemented in Key Stage 1, are developed and built up within Key Stage 2. The expectations of the National Curriculum remain as our minimum standards.
Extra-Curriculum
Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in many extra-curricular activities and clubs such as Ballet, Quiz, Book, Football and Choir.
Further clubs will become available throughout the year. Pupils may also have the opportunity to have LAMDA lessons or music lessons with visiting music / drama teachers. New club choices will be issued in September and then at the start of each new term.
