Curriculum
The prep school curriculum has a real, hands-on feel where children participate in their education and are not just spectators. We are passionate about developing a genuine curiosity of the world about us and the breadth and balance in the curriculum allows pupils to get genuinely excited about the lessons they have each day.
As an independent school, we recognise the many benefits that the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum has to offer, however, many children in our setting are working beyond national levels and a good balance is created between learning through play and subject focused work.
Extra-Curriculum
Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in many extra–curricular activities and clubs such as Ballet, Football and Tennis with further clubs becoming available throughout the year. Pupils may also have the opportunity to have Speech and Drama (LAMDA) lessons (in Yr2) or music lessons with visiting music / drama teachers. Extra-curricular activities and clubs change termly and families will be notified at the beginning of term which clubs are available and on which days they meet.
