Last night, Monday 10 June 24 was our fabulous Art presentation evening.
Highclare School invite all local schools every year to be involved in our Art Competition, this years theme was ‘Celebrating Heroes’
“I am writing to invite members of your school to take part in this year’s Junior Art Competition. It is open to boys and girls of all ages within key stage two (Yr3 to Yr6).
For this year’s brief, we invite you to create an artwork featuring your ‘hero’. Your hero might be somebody famous, current or historical, somebody you admire in your community, or somebody personal to you. Create your artwork in the frame provided, using any art material, and write a short sentence to explain who your hero is and why.”

Everyone involved received certificates. All pupils also got a glimpse at our GCSE art exhibition as part of their visit which they found very inspirational.
