Good Reads – KS3 – Sept 23 – Festivals and Ecology

Posted: 12th September 2023

Go on an exploration of cultural and religious festivals from around the world with this colourful read.  All these events unite people to mark important events in our lives.  Find out about Diwali,  the Spanish tomato-throwing festival, La Tomatina, the Belgian Festival of Giants—so much to celebrate.

The Ecology Book is a very good introduction to how our planet works with regards to the environment and climate change.  How do species interact with each other and their environment? How do ecosystems change? What is biodiversity?  A great book for young people and adults, full of information and very thorough.
