Among the Highclare students celebrating this morning are Josh Cahm, with 4 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s out of 11 passes; Ben Wilkinson, with 6 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s out of 10 passes; Isobel Budden, with 1 grade 9, 3 grade 8s and 4 grade 7s out of 10 passes and Shana Lam with 2 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and 1 grade 7 out of 12 passes.
Dr Richard Luker, Headmaster, comments, “We are enormously proud of our GCSE students who have proven that attributes such as resilience, aspiration, empathy, hard work, dedication to academic excellence and the education of the whole person, skills all nurtured during their time at Highclare School, have been crucial to achieving success during this challenging year post-pandemic”.
The results attained by this year’s GCSE cohort are a testament to the continued exemplary education that our teaching body delivers and to the dedication of our students. This commitment to excellence on all fronts has been acknowledged with our recent ‘excellent’ ISI report which can be read on our website.
Having completed their GCSE examinations, students will look to continue their educational journey, with many taking advantage of the wide range of courses available, academic scholarship and the tutor-led approach to studying at Highclare Sixth Form.
