Next week a group of intrepid Highclare Explorers will be journeying off to South Africa on the trip of a lifetime.
The trip is booked with leading educational travel company, Glo-Ed. This is a company known for socially responsible travel and it’s environmental approach. The group will benefit from their knowledge and experience in arranging school tours, as well as the 24 hour assistance they offer should their support be needed whilst away.
The group will be visiting various resorts and nature reserves and mostly staying on location!
- 13th – Mountain Splendour Eco Resort, Central Drakensberg.
- 14th – 17th Nambiti Big Five Private Game Reserve, Kwazulu-Natal, Ladysmith
- 18th- 20th Zingela Safari and River Company Weenen.
The pupils and staff have been raising money for two charities along side this trip with cake sales, non-uniform days and a tombola raffle. The charities that have been chosen are based in South Africa and the children are hoping to see some of the areas, people and animals that their charity efforts will be helping whilst they are away.
We wish them all an incredible trip!
