Intermediate Mathematical Challenge Results 2022

Posted: 9th March 2022

We were extremely pleased with the results of the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge which gifted mathematicians at Highclare School entered in February 2022. This is a nationally recognised challenge and only the top 40% of students receive a certificate. However, at Highclare School, over 70% of entrants achieved either a bronze, silver or gold award – a fantastic achievement.

Gold certificates were awarded to:

Amir Kaveian U5

Haydn Sargeant U5

Sarah Au U5

Silver Certificates were awarded to:

Hassan Mahdi U5

Harris Gohar U5

Joe Abbott L5
Chelsea Cao L5

Bronze certificates were awarded to:

Veronica Ansell U5

Arranveer Sandhu U5

Josh Cahm L5

Lorna Konneh U4

Hassan Akram U4

Some of the UKs top performers in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge qualify for the annual Kangaroo contest. We were delighted that Amir Kaveian, Haydn Sargeant and Sarah Au all qualified to take part in this challenge.

Well done to all the students who took part. We are extremely proud of their achievements.
