Shoe Aid Cheque Presentation

Posted: 10th November 2021

Highclare Prep School welcomed Andy Hughes of the charity Shoe Aid, into school to talk to Reception- Yr2 children about the work Shoe Aid undertakes.

The assembly was incredibly informative, children learnt about the collection and distribution of the shoes collected and the benefits of recycling and they have also been invited to have a tour of the warehouse, which will be organised in the near future!

Our Yr2 School Council pupils presented Andy with a cheque in the sum of £2105 along with a donation of shoes collected by the whole school.  Thank you to all families who contributed, as always we are amazed by your generosity.

As  a school we are looking forwards to TAWS (The Active Wellbeing Society), Erdington Food Bank and St Basils visiting over the next couple of weeks to talk to the children and also receive their donations of £2105 each.

New Phone System

We are currently in the process of installing a new telephone system across all sites which will provide a much improved experience for parents.  The phone lines into school will be intermittent this week.  Please bare with us at this time. If, in the meantime, you need to contact school urgently, please contact 07795-613126 or send an email to enquiries@highclareschool.co.uk.  Thank you for your patience.
