L6 and U6 Seeing Justice in Action

Posted: 3rd November 2021

L6 and U6 pupils travelled into Birmingham as they visited the Birmingham magistrates’ court and crown court seeing justice in action.

Pupils were welcomed to the magistrates by David Warner, Bench Chairman for Birmingham and Solihull who gave pupils a behind the scenes tour and let the students stand in the dock and peer down the stairs to the cells. They observed one trial in the magistrates where the defendant was found guilty of driving offences and received a fine before heading across the road to the crown court.

If, in the meantime, you need to contact school urgently, please contact 07795-613126 or send an email to enquiries@highclareschool.co.uk.  Thank you for your patience.
