Mrs Bennett’s Bulletin. Thursday 28 January 2021

Posted: 28th January 2021

Good morning, Prep School family,

I hope you are all well and ready for a great day ahead.

You know the saying ‘A picture speaks a thousand words’? Today, this is my Bulletin.

A picture really does speak a thousand words. . .

Days of the year theme: International Lego Day, Kazoo Day, Blueberry Pancake Day and Data Privacy Day.

Quote of the Day: “Talk to yourself like you would someone you love.”

Happier January calendar task (this month’s activities are based on doing things that make us happier):

*Ask other people about the things they have enjoyed recently

TOP’s weekly activity: Can you learn 15 new countries and their capital cities

Life skill of the day: Empty the dishwasher

Joke of the day:

What do you call a bear with no ears?

A ‘B’!

Fact of the Day:

Did you know that caterpillars have 12 eyes?

Sleeps til Santa: 330 days!

Three things I’m looking forward to today (thanks to Mrs Hinch for the inspiration): Can you try this each day? Remember, it focuses your mind on the positive and reminds us to show gratitude for things, no matter how small!

Today I am looking forward to: Our first virtual KS1 assembly, KS1 story time after school and an early night.

Have a great day,

Stay safe and look after each other,

Mrs Bennett
