Good morning,

Here are today’s suggested activities:

Please watch the story of the Little Red Hen on YouTube. Could your child then produce a story map to illustrate where bread comes from, for example wheat growing, mill etc Your child may wish to label their pictures.

To help your child to explore weight could they hold in their hands various household items such as a tin, or a small bag of flour. It really helps children to feel the weight before they start to use scales. Can they use the language of weight – heaviest, lightest or the same.

We look forward to seeing photographs of your children’s efforts.

Last term we asked the children to practise putting their coats on and doing up their zips. We have noticed that some of the children coming into school are finding it quite tricky to do their zips up on a different coat. it would really help all of their children to become truly efficient in their use of zips if they can have lots more practise. Thank you.

Have a lovely fun weekend.

Kind regards

Mrs Harris and Mrs Mitchell
