Highclare Preparatory School 2019

Posted: 19th December 2018

We are excited to announce that with effect from 1 January 2019,  we are changing the name of our junior school to become Highclare Preparatory School.

Our Woodfield and St Paul’s settings will be officially known as:

  • Highclare Preparatory School:  St Paul’s
  • Highclare Preparatory School: Woodfield

Our pre-schools in both locations will change their names also, to become pre-prep.

We are introducing these changes to underscore our one-school approach to delivering a first-class early years and primary education and also to place more emphasis on our status as a truly Independent school.

Weather permitting, you will see evidence of this change in our external signage when term commences in January 2019.  All of our digital and paper-based communications will also be updated during the next few weeks.

Our school, as a whole, will continue to be known as Highclare School, with the name of the senior section also remaining unchanged, as Highclare Senior School.

In summary, our structure will look like this:

Highclare School

  • Highclare Senior School
  • Highclare Preparatory School
    • Highclare Preparatory School: St Paul’s (including Pre-Prep)
    • Highclare Preparatory School: Woodfield (including Pre-Prep)

Our respected and recognisable school badge and motto will not be changing; neither will our steadfast commitment towards educating the boys and girls in a manner that allows them to fulfil their potential, in a safe, healthy and supportive environment.

This change of name is a small but significant step in the evolution of Highclare School.  It will provide greater clarity to our purpose as a trusted and successful school, and is an exciting enhancement to our brand.
