Highclare Sixth Form Trip to London

Posted: 20th December 2017

On Thursday 14th December Highclare Sixth form pupils set off on their annual trip to London bright and early.

First stop was the Shard, standing 310 metres (1,020 feet) high, the tallest building in the United Kingdom. We all enjoyed the panoramic views of London and beyond from the top.

Once back down from the top, we then headed off for lunch at Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square, before a brief stroll through the bustling streets of London led us to the Novello Theatre, and the matinee performance of Mamma Mia.

We all enjoyed singing and dancing in the isles to the many memorable songs of the show. After free time around Covent Garden we headed off back to Euston for our journey back to Birmingham. Everyone had a fantastic day.
