Spring Concert at Highclare School

Posted: 20th March 2015

Highclare students excelled themselves while performing in the annual Spring Concert at the Senior School.
During the first half there were solo vocal and instrumental recitals along with performances from the Rock Band, Junior and Senior Choirs, the Concert Orchestra, Rhapsody Choir and ‘Highkulele’, Highclare’s Ukulele group.  After refreshments there were dramatic performances and readings from the Performing Arts department.  The evening concluded with a performance from ‘Bugsy Malone’ by the L4 drama group and an improvised piece from ‘Blood Brothers’ by the U5 GCSE drama students.
A collection was made for the School’s chosen charity for the year, SSAFA.

Well done to the staff and students, including the backroom crew who worked so hard to entertain everyone.
