Highclare take part in the Great Midlands Fun Run

We were very proud of the Highclare Team who all ran, walked and jogged the 8.5 mile course in the Great Midlands Fun Run raising money for the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation.  Despite the unexpected blazing sunshine, all competitors managed to finish the course and enjoy the event.  The team consisted of many pupils, parents and families from school (and even included a family dog !)   Staff too joined in and ran, only being disconcerted when passed  by many pupils on the steep incline of Cardiac Hill !   This was a great day out and a fantastic effort by pupils and families from all areas of the school, earning House points as well as valuable donations to our school charity.
