Highclare enters the Big Bang Fair in Sutton Coldfield

Posted: 22nd March 2013

Highclare School presented a show case of our robots at the Big Bang Science fair at Sutton College recently. We told other schools about VEX Robotics and the different components and skills required to make a robot.
It was a great experience as we got to improve our presentation skills and told others about some of the amazing things we did during our first year of robotics.
I enjoyed being able to control the robot in front of an audience and enjoyed watching other schools try to control them. Some of the schools were keen to take up robotics after seeing our work.I also enjoyed visiting the other schools exhibitions and my favourite stands (apart from the Highclare one!) was linked to forensic science.  Overall it was a fun day with plenty of chances to learn new things.
