J4 and J5 visited The Old Rep to see James and The Giant Peach.
The production was fantastic and the stage sets were amazing. The story was depicted well with an enormous peach being centre stage with compartments and a spiral staircase circling the outside.
At the end of the performance the cast, after the applause, announced the winner of the ‘Design a Poster’ competition, ‘ANNA DROZD’. We couldn’t believe it; Anna Drozd in J5R had won. An usher found us seated in the upper circle and presented a rather surprised Anna with a signed poster of the cast, James and The Giant Peach book, chocolates and a book marker.
