Highclare Preparatory School is a leading independent, day school based in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. It is part of Highclare School which educates over 500 pupils aged 2 to 18 years.

We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Early Years Coordinator to lead and coordinate our exceptional staff team as we aim to further develop our educationally rich and exciting pre-preparatory environment to inspire a love for learning and enquiry in our youngest children.

This is a unique role as Highclare Pre-Preparatory School is split over two locations (Highclare St Paul’s and Highclare Woodfield). The successful candidate will lead and manage the Highclare St Paul’s pre-preparatory department on a daily basis, whilst at the same time, working in close proximity to lead the whole Highclare pre-preparatory department forward in partnership with the Highclare Woodfield EYFS coordinator.

The Early Years Coordinator will be an excellent team player who leads by example. He/she will be motivational and innovative. They will be responsible for the teaching and monitoring of the children in the pre-preparatory and will be an integral part of the preparatory school leadership team to shape the development and progress of the school as a whole.

The successful candidate will be supported by a strong team of experienced and dedicated staff who are keen to embrace new ideas but who are also dedicated to maintaining our unique atmosphere and ethos. Knowledge of SENCO is strongly desired but not essential. This role will involve moving between locations, but mainly based at Highclare St Paul’s.
