Parent Information

The school keeps parents informed about all school activities through the regular weekly school bulletin, the termly newsletter (The Head’s Termly Newsletter) and the Parent Portal.   The weekly school bulletin is published in electronic format each Thursday.

The Head’s Termly Newsletter is published at the end of each term and contains news stories, photographs and reports on the activities of the term.

In addition, the school’s virtual learning environment, known as Highclare Virtual, has become a well-established source of communication between teacher and learner and also a useful link for parents with regards to events, procedures and trips.

The Parent Portal is a dedicated ‘link’ designed to help you engage more fully with your child’s education and with the school in general.

To access the Parent Portal all you have to do is click here.  This will enable parents to access the pupil-specific information available on aspects such as attendance and the timetable.  In addition to this you will be able to find generic information relating to the wider life of the school.

Please do not hesitate to contact our ICT support team on parentportal@highclareschool.co.uk if you have any problems accessing the Parent Portal.

Please ensure that the school is notified immediately if any of your contact details change.  There is a facility to update your details on the Parent Portal.
