“Glamba” visit Highclare Woodfield

Posted: 20th June 2014

Highclare Woodfield came alive with the sound of music on Friday 13th June at Woodfield, it was certainly not an unlucky day!
With the help of “Glamba” a theatrical percussion experience, everyone was soon in the rhythm.

All the Woodfield pupils had been asked to make their own instruments in advance of the day and to bring them to school to make music on our creative music and arts day.

They did us proud and certainly showcased
their individual talents!

Andy Bole, a multi-talented professional musician who interacted brilliantly with all the pupils and enabled their creativity to flourish added to the day’s fun,
along with Glamba.

The day culminated in a carnival of music and colour on the school field, with everyone synchronised, showcasing their amazing instruments!
