Sensory Play at Highclare Nursery

Posted: 14th February 2014

At Nursery we like to give children the opportunity to engage in ‘messy’ or ‘sensory’ activities, whether it is shredded paper, sand, baked bean play, cornflour play or foam!

As well as being lots of fun, it helps the children to learn about the texture of different things as well as how they can be used, such as pouring, squashing or moulding which encourages the children to use all of their senses.
