Shelter Building in Year 6

Shelter Building is always an exciting DT project at The Abbey. Pupils are encouraged to research different materials and methods of application. Safety is always at the forefront of lessons and rules of safety adhered to at all times.  They are encouraged to use saws and blocks alongside low heat glue guns.
So far the pupils have designed their ideas and are now in the process of constructing them. Watch this space…
