Speech and Drama at Highclare

Posted: 31st March 2022

We are extremely pleased to be able to offer Speech and Drama lessons (LAMDA) as an extra curricular subject on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis at Highclare School.

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations have been a consistently successful enrichment activity at Highclare School with children able to choose courses in acting, verse and prose, reading or public speaking or a mixture of all!

Please do take time to have a look at LAMDA’s website for more information: https://www.lamda.ac.uk/our-exams. Studying LAMDA is proven to help develop important life skills including excellent communication techniques and improved self confidence, both of which are invaluable as children grow up and enter the world of work. These skills learnt at a young age are never forgotten. All exams offer students the opportunity to improve self-expression, strengthen memory, develop performance skills and most importantly, have fun.

If you are interested in lessons for your son or daughter at Highclare Senior School or would like to find out more please contact Mrs J Pryer-Smith on J.Pryer-Smith@highclareschool.co.uk
