Mrs Bennett’s Bulletin, Tuesday 30 March 2021

Posted: 30th March 2021

Good morning, Prep School family,

I hope this Bulletin finds you happy and very well.

I just wanted to end this term saying well done for getting through the last term! It has been a complete mixing pot of remote learning, Zooms and being in school. You have all coped so well and worked so incredibly hard. Your resilience has astounded me on so many occasions. I know how tired we all are – children, parents and staff so try to have a really good break this Easter. Enjoy the fact that the clocks have gone forward, the lighter nights are coming and we are allowed to meet up with 6 people or another household! Things are looking up.

You know one of my favourite sayings is a picture speaks a thousand words, so I will leave you with the attached picture. . . and I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to those blue skies!

Have the best holiday ever!

Five things I am looking forward to this week (thanks to Mrs Hinch for the inspiration): Can you try this each day? Remember, it focuses your mind on the positive and reminds us to show gratitude for things, no matter how small!

This week I am looking forward to: safely taking full advantage of the new ‘Rule of Six’, seeing my friends, having the occasional lie in, an afternoon tea with a difference on Saturday and finally getting round to reading my new book!

Have a lovely rest of the week and a fabulous Easter holiday,

Stay safe and take care of yourselves and each other,

Lots of love

Mrs Bennett
