Swans School Comms, Friday 15 January 2021

Posted: 15th January 2021

Good Morning,

We hope you have enjoyed our suggested activities this week. Next week our topic will be changing to farms.

Perhaps, if you haven’t already, you could help your child create a beautiful winter picture. We are excited to create an online gallery of art work so we would love to see your photographs.

Our suggested story is on You Tube (unless you have the book) ‘One Snowy Night’ by Nick Butterworth. Discuss the animals in the story and where they might live. If your child has a toy animal at home, could they make somewhere cosy for them to sleep. Perhaps use construction kits or boxes. We would love to see pictures of what they make.

Can your child hear some of the descriptive weather words in the story (for example freezing, shivering etc…)

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards

Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Harris
