Last week Year 2 pupils visited Staffordshire Regiment Museum at Whittington Barracks as part of their history topic on war and remembrance. The children saw a real life trench and learnt what it would have been like for soldiers who had to live in the trenches, complete with the sound of gunfire. Year 2 enjoyed looking at the weapons and uniform that the soldiers wore during the World Wars, it was an incredible learning experience.
