Highclare Senior School students showcased their talent and efforts at an enjoyable summer concert (with scones!) during the last week of the summer term. Almost 40 pupils participated to a wonderful evening celebrating Highclare Senior School music; and all pupils have contributed to the wider musical life of the senior school significantly.
The programme featured an array of different styles of music; from jazz, pop, African a capella, latin, classical, and baroque music; to a jewish klezmer number! This was a lovely celebration of the work of our fantastic String Ensemble, Jazz Band, Guitar Ensemble, Rock Band, Choirs, Flute Ensemble; and select soloists from over the past term. All performers rehearse and practice regularly, demonstrating an impressive amount of commitment, determination, and passion for music. Of course, this success has also been enabled by our enthusiastic music team. Well done and thank you to all of those involved.
