Highclare Wins Gold Award For National Citizen Service

Posted: 3rd December 2018

Highclare recently received a gold award as part of the National Citizen Service (NCS), delivered by The Challenge.

NCS aims to bring together young people from different backgrounds for a common purpose. Each programme consists of three separate phases delivered over a 3-4 week period during the Summer holidays. The programme combines teamwork, adventure, and social action, with 30 hours committed to a local community project.

Highclare School received Gold for the percentage of U5th pupils who took part in the National Citizen Service, empowerment programme during last summer.

We are so proud of all those that got involved!
