A Brief History of Music at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall

Posted: 6th February 2018

On Friday 2nd February U3 pupils travelled through five centuries of music in sixty minutes in a concert given by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.

Presented by animateur Tom Redmond (fresh from the BBC’s Ten Pieces) and conducted by the CBSO’s associate conductor Michael Seal, the programme included Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, Mahler’s Symphony No.5, Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and much more!

A fantastic morning was had by all.
