Senior School artwork to feature in a global publication

Posted: 26th February 2016

GCSE and A Level artwork by Alisha Khanna (L6) and former 6th Form student Emma White has been selected to appear in a global publication.

A total of 7 pages from their course sketchbooks have been chosen to appear in “100 High School Sketchbooks”, which is the first publication from “The Student Art Guide” (www.studentartguide.com). The book will be available in both hardcopy and electronic format and will contain outstanding sketchbook pages from high school Art Departments around the world. The book is intended to provide a valuable and inspiring learning resource that celebrates and promotes the achievement of students, teachers and schools in a range of specialist art areas.

Alisha’s and Emma’s work was chosen from a highly competitive field of over 500 entries and the quality of the work submitted was outstanding. We are delighted that their work will now go on to achieve wider recognition. The book is due for publication later this year.
