J2 Children learn about Florence Nightingale

As part of their topic on Florence Nightingale, a parent of one of the children in J2R came to talk about Nursing. She is an Advance Nurse Practitioner and she told the children about the things she does in her job. The children were fascinated to look into her bag which contained a stethoscope, a tongue depressor and a digital thermometer. She also told the children about her husband who is a medic in the RAF.

Our Sixth Form Pre-Med Scholarship is now live for applicants to Highclare Sixth Form from September 2024 onwards.

The scholarship provides a bespoke programme for students aiming to enter university in September 2026 with a research-science based degree.
