Rhapsody choir sing in the Tamworth Music Festival

Posted: 23rd March 2015

Eight members of The Rhapsody choir, Highclare Senior School's auditioned chamber choir, took part in the vocal ensemble category at the Tamworth and District Music Festival.  Following a fantastic performance, not only did the choir score a fabulous 90%, putting them in the coveted "Outstanding" category, but they were also invited to perform in the winners' concert, taking place on 19th April.  The choir sang "May It Be" and "Rhythm of Life" and the adjudicators praised them for their clear diction and sense of team work.  They now look forward to collecting their trophy on 19th April and competing there for one of the two prestigious winners' trophies.  A huge well done to all pupils who took part, and thank you to Mr Barber for accompanying the choir.
