Teacher and ex pupil honoured with the British Empire Medal

Congratulations to Ashley Hall who was is to receive the British Empire Medal for her services to education supporting Rocklands Special School.

Ashley, who teaches at Highclare School and is also an ex pupil, raised £150,000 for special needs children. Ashley, whose son Sebastian (11) attended Rocklands and now goes to Queen's Croft in Lichfield, was nominated for the award by former deputy headteacher at Rocklands Ann Rigby.

Ashley also raises money for children in Sutton Coldfield.
