Highclare Students meet the Deputy Prime Minister

Posted: 17th November 2014

Senior students from Highclare School enjoyed their visit to The Skills Show, the nation’s largest skills and careers event, which was held at the NEC.  The event attracts over 75,000 visitors and provides hands-on experience that inspires young people to explore further education, skills and Apprenticeships.
Special guests and speakers included Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, Minister for Skills and Enterprise Matthew Hancock and The Skills Show patron Theo Paphitis.
Some of our students were given the opportunity to meet and talk to Nick Clegg and he was happy to be photographed with them.
