Highclare Juniors visit the Lord Mayor

Posted: 23rd May 2014

Pupils from Highclare School Woodfield spent a memorable morning at Birmingham City Council House.
A generous invitation was extended to the pupils after the Lord Mayor visited the school earlier this year. The Mayor had been very impressed with the Junior students’ work and offered pupils the opportunity to visit his Parlour.  A group of J4 & J5 pupils were welcomed by the Lord and Lady Mayoress into his Parlour and were given a personal tour of the magnificent building, where fascinating details were shared and the opportunity to see wonderful artefacts offered.

Staff and pupils have taken away with them wonderful memories of the day, especially Isobel who spent her 10th birthday with the Lord Mayor!
