Children in Need fundraising at Highclare School

Posted: 18th November 2013

Children and staff at Highclare St Paul’s worked together to raise over £420 for Children in Need.
Everyone went to school in their pyjamas and parents also donated plenty of cakes for the Y6 children to sell to the rest of the school.
There was also a ‘guess the name of the teddy bear’ and a ‘guess how many sweets in the jar’ game during the day.

Wear Pyjamas for Pudsey, was the call to all Woodfield pupils.  Everyone rose to the colourful challenge, and made the day an enjoyable one while raising £270 for Children in Need.
Year 5 pupils helped to prepare healthy fruit pots for sale at break time and other pupils enjoyed a range of activities which complemented their curriculum.
Woodfield pupils enjoyed a healthy day and were happy to know that their efforts were helping others, with all funds raised being given to Children in Need.
