GCSE Exhibition showcases Art and Textiles Success

Posted: 24th June 2013

In June, the senior school Art and Design Technology Departments staged a joint exhibition of work by U5 pupils to mark the successful conclusion to their GCSE courses in school.  Work of students for both Textiles and Art courses was exhibited with a total of around 40 projects being shown.

The work included a diverse range of disciplines from fashion design, sublimation printing on fabric, painting and drawing, photography, digital design and 3D.

Once again, the diversity of approaches employed by the students across their preparatory portfolios and final outcomes highlighted the creativity and individuality of our talented pupils.

Many of the students involved are going on to study Art or Textiles at a higher level next year. We wish all of them every success in their future careers.
