Sixth Form raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust

Posted: 3rd June 2013

To continue Highclare's fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust this year, there was a penalty shoot-out competition held in the gymnasium. Alongside Joe P, Daniel H and Sommer-Mae (U3), were competitors from the junior schools, senior school and the teaching staff.  We managed to raise £53.40 for Teenage Cancer Trust.  All of the scorers were entered into a raffle to win a table for two at the award winning Five Rivers A La Carte restaurant in Walsall. It was quite fitting that Sommer-Mae, who was the goalkeeper for the shootout, was chosen at random from thirty different names.

We would like to thank the Five Rivers team for their generous donation to such a worthy cause.
