Geography Trip to London

Posted: 11th December 2012

In November, the U6 and L6 Geography A level groups caught the train to London for an educational adventure. After arriving at Euston station we walked to Friend’s House where we attended a series of lectures about tectonics, which had speakers such as Iain Stewart- the famous geologist. We all found this very interesting and valuable, and we’re sure we’ll use this new information and knowledge in our exams. Afterwards we took the tube to Hyde Parks Winter Wonderland, where we got into the Christmas mood, trying on silly hats and sampling festive food.  We wandered Oxford Street and Regent Street, ate pizza and then played in Hamleys before heading home.
