Sonia Lanaman visits Highclare Olympic Week

The Junior pupils has a fantastic day at their Olympic Day which ended their Olympics Week of fun.We also had Sonia Lanaman, MBE, visit us And she kindly showed us her Olympic Medals and MBE.
The pupils were put through their paces with an Olympic workout: playing archery, using rowing machines, running and boxing with Aspire Sports.
The also made masks, flags and engaged in other Olympic based activities.
It has been a fantastic Olympic Week and everyone enjoyed it!
Mr Aitken told us all about Miss Lanaman and everyone asked her questions about her training and achievements. Miss Lanaman trained 4 hours a day!

Our Sixth Form Pre-Med Scholarship is now live for applicants to Highclare Sixth Form from September 2024 onwards.

The scholarship provides a bespoke programme for students aiming to enter university in September 2026 with a research-science based degree.
