Independent Learning in the Junior Department

Posted: 1st June 2012

J4 have produced excellent projects on the British Monarchy in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee.  Not only did they research information, they also wrote diaries in the style of Queen Elizabeth as a child and some even wrote a Monarchy Rap!
Ishika recorded her rap on CD so listen out for it during our celebrations.

In science J5 have been learning about conducting science experiments correctly.  They learned about the disease scurvy and how the disease was cured using a fair test.  The children recorded what they had learnt in a choice of ways: some chose to do a poster, a rap, a recipe or an informative text with pop-up characters!
