U3 Trip to Calais – 2012

Posted: 21st May 2012

We left school at 4.00 am and after a journey through the Channel Tunnel, we arrived in France at about 10.30 am. Following a walk around the market and a chance to speak in French to the locals, we went on to Calais Plage, where a few of the braver students paddled in the sea and ate ice cream! The rest of the boys and girls played frisbie and football on the sand. We all had a most enjoyable day.

A big thank you to all the parents who had to get up early to make the day possible; we do appreciate it.  Merc beaucoup!
