HiGHCLARE SWIM TO SUCCESS

There were 14 of the best Independent School’s in the area competing at the Independent School’s Association Regional Gala on 15th October and Highclare’s Senior Squad were victorious overall scoring 211 points, beating second placed Princethorpe College by 16 points.

Competitive swimming by the Year 7 team gave Highclare their first place of the day quickly followed by 1st place for the Year 9/10 team

Five of the girls from the Highclare teams :  Katrina Holmes, Kristie Hackett , Katie Richardson, Pheobe McClenaghan and Ellie Wheeler all qualified to represent the Midlands Region at the ISA National Gala in Coventry on 14th November.

Bella DeSousa-Bartelett, Head of PE at Highclare Senior School, said “This was an exciting day and a great reward for the girls who all train hard individually, as well as working well together as a team.   We are really looking forward to success at the National Gala”

Our Sixth Form Pre-Med Scholarship is now live for applicants to Highclare Sixth Form from September 2024 onwards.

The scholarship provides a bespoke programme for students aiming to enter university in September 2026 with a research-science based degree.
