For Henry Tudor

HISTORY COMES TO LIFE FOR HIGHCLARE JUNIORS

Pupils in J5P joined forces with Henry Tudor and marched to Bosworth Battlefield to engage the forces of the false King Richard III. They trained to be foot soldiers drilling with halberds, and surveyed the battlefield noting the deployment of those involved.

Girls and boys were also given the opportunity to hold a bird of prey after seeing a display of these magnificent animals. They returned from battle victorious and without a single casualty despite the ferociousness of the day! Long live Henry VII!
