A Level Results
Sixth Form pupils at Highclare School are celebrating their success at A level this year. Once again they have achieved an amazing 100% pass rate at A2 with 20% of passes achieved at A* or A grades, 54% at A* to B grades and 78% at A* to C grades.
Rachel Cavet, who came to Highclare specifically for Sixth Form study 2 years ago gained 2 A*, 2 A and a B grades, giving her the highest number of points and securing her place at Birmingham University to study Mathematics. All pupils taking Mathematics gained A or A* grades – an amazing achievement.
Rachel said: "I am absolutely thrilled with my results. I have got the grades that I needed to get into my first choice of university, Birmingham. I am really grateful to the staff at Highclare who have guided me and supported me throughout my Sixth Form. My time at Highclare has been a fantastic experience and an excellent preparation for university. I have greatly appreciated the massive amount of extra time all my teachers spent enabling me to achieve what I wanted"
