HIGHCLARE PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION

For those parents new to the school, Highclare has an active PTA, which prides itself in the support it gives to the school.  We have a committee that meets once a month to organise the various events and a number of parents who offer their help at the functions such as the Christmas Fayre. The PTA is also well supported by members of the staff who help in the running of the regular discos and functions that we hold.

Should you require any details about the PTA or how you could become a Friend of the PTA and help at the major functions, please contact Sharon Soen at St Paul’s on 0121 355 8205  or Caroline Gibson

on 07917 246 399

Details of the current PTA programme and booking forms are to found in the parents section of this web-site on the " messages and PTA"  page.

Previous Event Reports

ABBA NIGHT

Mamma Mia, it was a fabulous night, with nearly 100 Dancing Queens boogeying to Bootleg ABBA’s famous tunes. The
costumes alone were enough reason to come out. ABBA had a tough decision when it came to awarding the prize. In the end
Sven said no one could beat Jenny Cutler’s fabulous sparkly platform boots, as she scooped up the bubbly.
Thanks must go to JK Entertainment and Pier 39 for putting on the event and to the main table organisers Lyne, Nina, Nia, Sue
Griffiths, Sue Garrard, Trev, Esther and Sharon for getting us all out to party.
The event also raised £700 towards the PTA’s goal of funding outdoor play
equipment on all three sites.
