Highclare Preparatory School is a leading independent, day school based in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. It is part of Highclare School which educates over 500 pupils aged 2 to 18 years.

Founded in 1932, the School provides an exceptional all-round education that successfully combines a pride in its history with excellent facilities. Highclare Preparatory School is set in two locations, both in Sutton Coldfield. There is a separate games field too.

Highclare Prep is seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team commencing in the summer term. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, and working with young children. This is an opportunity to teach at an excellent independent school, in a brilliant team, amongst our engaged and capable pupils.

To be considered for the post, you must be able to demonstrate your strengths as an outstanding pupil-focused teacher, capable of collaborating with colleagues and bringing out the best in all of our pupils. Success in this role will require a commitment to innovation in teaching, learning and curriculum planning.

This post would suit a highly motivated teacher from either a state or independent school background, keen to play a key role in delivering the Highclare School vision and ethos.
