Pupils, parents and staff enjoyed an evening of celebration at Senior School Speech Night. Many past pupils, together with their parents, came to receive their A level certificates from guest speaker, Sir Robert Dowling. GCSE and subject prizes were also awarded, together with prizes throughout the school for effort and achievement.
The pupils at Highclare St Paul’s took part in a lovely remembrance Assembly lead by J6P. Pupils were invited to come into school dressed in their Brownies, Girl Guides, Beavers or Scout Uniforms. The children sang the poppy songs beautifully and the assembly finished with Mr Richard Owen singing “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables….
J2 enjoyed a great experience when they visited Pizza Express. They put on chefs hats and aprons before rolling their sleeves up to stretch the pizza dough. Exemplary behaviour as usual- well done.
Congratulations to Niamh, Marika and Evanne for successfully auditioning for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Youth Chorus choir. Rehearsals are now underway and the girls are being put through their paces. We wish you all well. Congratulations also go to Harry who was invited to perform at the London College of Music High Scorers…
