TOPS covers term time and most holidays and is our Extended Day and Holiday Scheme
TOPS has been set up to support busy parents / guardians by providing a stimulating and creative extension to the child’s school day. The children enjoy the after school activities and many pupils use this facility from Kindergarten upwards.
TOPS provides cover from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm in term time.
At the end of the school day the children relax and play outdoors whenever possible. During the sessions older children have the opportunity to do their homework, while younger children are encouraged to take part in activities and crafts. These activities are based on a theme which is regularly changed and designed to encourage creative skills to provide new learning opportunities. Quiet resting time is available for those who need it.
TOPS is offered on all sites. If children have brothers or sisters on other sites, arrangements can be made to transport the older children to the site of their younger sibling.

TOPS operates for 11 weeks of the school holidays. It is usually based at Woodfield and is available for pupils from all three sites.
This is a care scheme suitable for children from Kindergarten to J6. A whole range of activities is organised including some visits off site. Details are given in letters available from the Deputy TOPS officers or school office.
In order to book TOPS term time on a regular basis, please use the Choice Forms enclosed with the registration pack. A term’s notice is needed in writing to change these sessions. Occasional sessions can be booked on an ad hoc basis by completing the form available from any school office or via a Deputy TOPS officer. Payment for occasional sessions should be made to the Deputy TOPS officer on site in advance.
