Highclare Senior school brings unparalleled levels of performance from its pupils in a wide range of sports including, Netball, Hockey, Swimming, Athletics, Cross country, Gymnastics, and has recently added Golf and Tennis to the list.

NETBALL

INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS
• U13 Team 2nd place at Regional Tournament

HOCKEY

BIRMINGHAM SCHOOLS
• U15 team placed 4th in North Birmingham League
• U13 team placed 3rd in North Birmingham League
• 2 players selected for U17 West Midlands county team

CROSS – COUNTRY

INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS
• U14 team 1st at Bedstone
• U16 team 2nd at Bedstone
• U18 team 1st at Bedstone
• Total of 10 girls and 4 boys selected to run at Nationals representing the Midlands team. (1 silver medal – Amy Johnson)

SUTTON SCHOOLS
• Year 7 team 3rd at the Sutton Schools Championships
• Year 8/9 team 2nd at Sutton Schools Championships
• Senior team placed 1st at Sutton Schools Championships

SWIMMING

INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS
• Senior team overall winners (14 schools)
• Year 8 team winners, Year 9/10 team winners, Year 11 team Runners up.
• 6 girls selected to represent the Midlands at the ISA Nationals, where they collected 6 gold, 5 silver, 1 bronze medals, 4 new national records and 3 “Best Individual Performers” trophies.

ATHLETICS

INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS (15 senior & 27 junior schools)
• Year 7 Team 5th
• Year 8/9 Team 1st
• Year 10 Team 4th
• Senior team (Yr 7 –10) declared 4th overall
• Junior team (Yr 4-6 ) declared Runners up
• 4 senior girls selected to represent the Midlands at the ISA Nationals, where between them they collected a total of 5 medals. (4 golds , 1 bronze)
